Why should Don Rumsfeld resign? Did he lie under oath? Did he punch a cop? No. Mr. Rumsfeld is running a global war on terrorism to the best of his abilities.

The mainstream media (MSM) acts like running a war is easy and that they could do a better job. I think that if the media was running the military, America would have already been defeated... by France.

I haven't posted in forever. No, I haven't become a big liberal. Rather, I've been busy reading cases and working out. I'm on Spring Break now. I will try to start posting regularly again this summer.

Democrats/Media Try to Create a Scandal, Fail

The Democratic media is trying to create a scandal that Jack Abramoff gave illegal contributions to Republicans. I am not excusing Republicans' behavior if the story turns out to be true. But Abramoff apparently also gave contributions to Democrats. This morning on FoxNews Sunday, Harry Reid responded to that charge, saying "Abramoff gave me no money. His firm gave me no money. He [Abramoff] may have worked at a firm where people have given me money." Seems to me that if the firm where Abramoff worked gave money to Harry Reid, that counts as Abramoff's firm. Watch the full video here and draw your own conlcusions. Maybe Harry Reid voted for the $87 billion before he voted against it.

I agree with Ben Franklin. I am very hesitant to give up freedom, even in the name of fighting terrorists. I am cautious of the spin coming from Republicans and Democrats regarding the Patriot Act. I intend to read the actual law over the Christmas break and will form an opinion then.

Hollywierd led an unsuccessful campaign to pardon a convicted murderer of four, Tookie Williams. The same people who couldn't wait to kill Terri Schiavo are now standing up for a murderer. Kudos to the Governator for not caving to the liberal wackos. Michelle Malkin has ongoing coverage.

I hear many liberals argue "80 percent of the Iraqi people want the U.S. out of Iraq." Where does this number come from? I hope it's not another CBS News poll where CBS "scales" the results to accurately represent America, with a whopping 23.8% Republicans.

I am a conservative law student who is excited to be part of the blogosphere. I am a Georgian, an American, and a patriot. "Sorry For Carter" comes from the idea that Georgia should apologize to the country for producing such a bad president. Carter is still an embarassment 25 years after he lost the White House. I love Georgia, but our most famous politicians are Jimmy Carter and Button Gwinnett, a signatory to the declaration of independence. Actually Gwinnett was pretty good, other than the fact that he is named Button....
